WrenchGuide is a community-driven workshop companion built to make reliable repair information easier to find, understand and use. No paywalls around core repair knowledge, no sponsored answers — just better information for people who like working on their cars.
Why this exists
Useful repair information is often scattered across workshop manuals, old forum threads, videos, parts catalogues, diagnostic tools and personal notes. WrenchGuide tries to bring the useful pieces together without pretending uncertain information is fact.
The BMW E9x platform is the first real community and content pilot. The product itself is vehicle-agnostic, so the long-term direction can grow naturally as reliable knowledge and contributors arrive.

Found something wrong? Know a better source? Have photos from a repair or a procedure that is missing? Tell us. WrenchGuide gets better when owners share what they have learned.
Community submissions are reviewed before they become technical guidance. We do not automatically promote forum replies, anecdotes or popularity into repair facts.
Have something useful to contribute?
Use the community feedback form to send corrections, missing topics or workshop notes. If you have photos or source material, describe what you have and we can work out the safest and most useful way to include it.
Community supported, not paywalled
WrenchGuide is currently built and maintained as a passion project. There is no monetisation requirement behind the product and no plan to lock core repair knowledge behind a subscription.
If the community grows, optional support such as donations may be added to help cover hosting, infrastructure, data, tooling or research costs. Any future funding model must preserve the project's independence and must not influence technical recommendations.
What success looks like
Success is not maximizing conversions. It is building a workshop resource that owners trust, use beside their cars, correct when it is wrong and improve for the next person.
